BIM Technical Seminar on Mechanical and Electrical Installation-Qingdao

2019-3-21

On August 31, the "BIM Seminar on Mechanical and Electrical Installation" was held in Qingdao under the guidance of Qingdao Survey and Design Association, Qingdao Institute of Civil Engineering and BIM Research Center of Qingdao University of Technology, and sponsored by Beijing East Intercontinental Technical Consulting Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Yongminghao Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. The application of BIM technology in fine construction of mechanical and electrical installation was discussed during the seminar. Honlitech was invited to participate and put forward the application scheme of 3D laser scanning in mechanical and electrical installation of BIM.

Solution of application value point of mechanical and electrical construction, application of BIM technology in mechanical and electrical installation and the application scene of 3D scanning technology were introduced during the seminar, which brought integrated BIM landing application process and experience sharing for mechanical and electrical installation professionals, BIM professionals, survey, design and construction professionals. There were no empty seats on site, with more than 300 participants.

Mr. Zeng Bochun, the development manager of our company, shared the application scene of 3D scanning technology in the seminar, explained the cooperation between mechanical and electrical engineering and civil engineering through the case of China Communications Construction Metro. Based on the mature technology of 3D laser scanning, the advantages of 3D laser scanning, such as rapidity, accuracy, data reuse, and WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get), Mr. Zeng elaborated and compared 3D optical scanning technology and transmission. The difference of system model and how to better deal with the error rate of civil engineering and mechanical and electrical models will combine BIM model with practice more closely.

Through the application analysis of BIM technology in Qingdao, the owner's requirement for the refinement of the project is constantly improving, which enlarges the impact of BIM on the construction industry. It also provides a new idea for the improvement of project quality and cost refinement.
